Genius Docs was formed in partnership with attorneys to build better tools for attorneys to collaborate with their clients for initial document preparation. Attorneys spend an increasing amount of time and effort collecting data from their clients just to have to spend additional time entering that data and formatting it into documents. Saving the attorney time on this clerical work will free them up for more important tasks.
KMG built a web application to allow attorneys to manage the client data collection process and generating initial documents from the client data collected. The application allows attorneys to create questionnaires for their clients to fill out – either by themselves or with assistance. After the data has been collected, attorneys can lock the information and begin document preparation. Each question during the data collection process is mapped to a document to be generated. The document is generated from the data collected and then the attorney can make further revisions/alterations before finalizing it for use.
